Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you order from Velocity4Health.

Please read these terms before ordering

They work together with our Shipping, Return and Refund, Payment, Cancellation, Warranty and Privacy policies. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights.

1. Who we are

velocity4health.shop is operated by Velocity4Health Cooking Ltd, trading as Velocity4Health, Unit 301A, 60 Frederick St, Birmingham B1 3HS, United Kingdom. Email: contact@velocity4health.shop. Phone: +44 7868 001358. We sell kitchen counter sets, serveware, serving bowls, trays and food storage pieces to customers in the United Kingdom.

2. These terms

These terms apply to orders placed on velocity4health.shop by consumers buying for personal use. By placing an order you agree to them. We may update them from time to time; the version on the website when you order applies to that order.

3. Products

We describe and photograph our products as accurately as we can. Many are made from natural materials such as wood, marble and handblown glass, so the item you receive may vary slightly in grain, colour, veining or size from the photographs, as explained on each product page. Product photographs are supplied for illustration and may show items or styling that are not included in the listing; the product description sets out exactly what is included.

4. Ordering and when the contract is formed

  1. Add items to your basket and go to checkout. Check your details and the order summary, which shows the total amount payable on delivery.
  2. Click the button to place your order. We will email you an order confirmation. This confirms we have received your order but is not yet acceptance.
  3. The contract between you and us is formed when we dispatch your order. If we cannot accept your order, for example because an item is unavailable or there is an obvious pricing error, we will tell you and you will not be charged.

5. Prices

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). The price that applies is the price shown at checkout when you place your order. Delivery to UK addresses is free and there is no Cash on Delivery fee, so the checkout total is the full amount you pay.

6. Payment

Payment is by Cash on Delivery only. You pay the order total when your order is delivered. No payment is taken online. See our Payment Policy.

7. Delivery

We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom only. Estimated delivery is 4 to 10 business days. Unless we agree otherwise, we will deliver within 30 days of the day after the contract is formed. The goods are your responsibility from the time they are delivered to you or to someone you nominate. Ownership passes to you when we receive payment in full. See our Shipping Policy.

8. Your right to cancel and our returns policy

You have a legal right to cancel your order from the moment you place it until 14 days after the day you receive the goods, without giving a reason, and a further 14 days to return them. In addition, our Return and Refund Policy allows you to request a return within 30 days of delivery. For change of mind returns, you pay the cost of returning the goods. Refunds for Cash on Delivery orders are paid by bank transfer.

9. Faulty goods and your legal rights

We are under a legal duty to supply goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, summarised in our Warranty Policy. We do not offer a separate commercial warranty.

10. Your account

If you create an account, keep your login details secure and let us know if you think someone else has used them. You can ask us to close your account at any time.

11. Our liability

If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, but we will tell you about any such event and try to minimise its effect. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Website content

The Velocity4Health name, logo, website design and text written by us belong to Velocity4Health Cooking Ltd. Product photographs and any third-party names or trade marks belong to their respective owners and are used to show the products we sell.

13. Complaints

If you have a complaint, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve it promptly.

14. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts, and the mandatory consumer protection laws of your home part of the UK continue to apply.
